kadijah brooks the first time i heard the souvenirs i waa hooked. i found out they were touring with tssf so i checked them out on youtube. they played a 15min live setlist of these songs. i fucking fell in love. their sound is so different but familiar at the same time. one of my favorite albums. my favorite song from this album is between port authority and how to sleep.

KEVIN THEAL These guys make the sort of music that makes me remember why i fell in love with the genre, why i fell in love with music. Souvenirs is one of those bands that is a true delight. With every release they grow by leaps and bounds. I wan this band to blow up and not for the petty satisfaction to say "well i listened to them when they were just...." My satisfaction would be to see them explode. Thanks Souvenirs you guys are awesome and I hope people recognize that soon! Favorite track: Sinker.

1.
My feet are tired, shoulders sore Got my life in two bags It's the weight of my world, I've been here before Different concrete, same cold floor Feeling all too familiar on your floor Port Authority just let me go home I'm tired and completely alone
2.
Sucker 03:18
I heard your car door slam and took a deep breath I sighed to compress the things I'd like to address Like how I don't even know you 'cause you don't know yourself These mind games you're playing are affecting my health I don't know you 'cause you don't know yourself I don't know you, now I don't want to
3.
Sinker 02:30
We're walking in hopes to hold up the setting sun With each step it drops further, more damage done I tried so hard to keep myself afloat, but now there's water in my throat I could only swim for so long When I gave in, I had oars for arms Rowing slowly to the shore We washed up and then we walked slow
4.
I watched you fall away when I cut the ties that kept me from being me False friends fleeting - stay gone, stay away Cut my name out of your vocabulary as if I disappeared 'Cause all you ever wanted was someone to drink with For that, among other reasons, you won't be missed You're just a kid with a bad habit
5.
How to Sleep 04:11
Patience expired long before this war settled at home When you breathe it breaks my bones So hold your breath until you can't I'm spinning in the web you've spun I tried my best with you Who really knows how to sleep under the weight of lies you tell me? Who really knows how to sleep under the weight of lies? You tell me I tried my best with you, but you never followed through
